🔝 Beyond Fluency: a C-level speaking club.🔝 Our advanced club for C1-C2 levels will take place this Thursday, 5 November!
➡️The topic: Should we dream of a better world? Utopias and dystopias of the past and the present.
We’re going to discuss how ideal and flawed societies are pictured in utopias and dystopias, which ideas resonate with us, and how we envision our own utopian or dystopian future.
📚 Starting point for our discussion: The article “A Point of View: Our present-day utopia” – also a source of advanced language.
You can join without reading the article. Discussion prompts are based on the topics and ideas rather than the article’s content.
